I have used this product as directed and the soil is sticky. Why is that and is it a concern?

This is due to the wetting agent in the kelp. Once the kelp gets wet, it likes to bind to the soil. This works great for plant root access but can leave the top of the soil a bit sticky. Best to lightly till it in the soil prior to watering (we prefer simple kebab skewers ourselves).
